Forgot to mention yesterday. The TV program, Medical Emergency, on Channel 7 at 8.00pm on Tuesday 20th June, features a woman undergoing a double lung transplant. Might be worth a look if you are interested.

For anyone who might of missed the show, part two is on 8:00pm next Tuesday night (June 27). No doubt they'll do a rundown on what happened this week to fill you in.
I was quite amazed after watching the program. The magnitude of what Dad (Ben) has been through really hit home while watching and to say the least was a bit emotional.
Through the blog site you might of gained an insight to just how grateful we all are to the transplant team for what they've done, and are continuing to do, for Ben (and us as a family). This program again lifted my admiration for all involved, especially the surgeons who post-transplant you have little further interaction with. They truly are amazing people.
